How to Name Your Resume and Cover Letter

The information that I read was applicants were rejected based on how they used naming conventions for resumes and cover letters.

In any event getting advice from THE BALANCE is what decision I made before sending out my next job application.  Use your name, possibly add the job title and make sure to use capital letters.

YourNameResume_JobTitle
YourNameCoverLetter_JobTitle

One step further would be to include the company name.

A no - no is to call your document myRESUME or just plain resume.
